OpenText VIM Consultant

Summary: The role of Senior OpenText VIM Consultant involves supporting a large-scale S/4HANA transformation for a global client, focusing on the Invoice to Pay processes within a complex multinational environment. The consultant will be responsible for aligning technical OpenText VIM solutions with business requirements and leading various aspects of VIM architecture and integration. This position requires extensive experience in SAP consulting, particularly with OpenText VIM and S/4HANA transformations. The role is remote and offers a contract duration of 8-10 months with potential extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review business requirements and align technical OpenText VIM solutions with Invoice to Pay goals.
• Lead OpenText VIM architecture, configuration, integration, and exception handling scenarios.
• Manage work flow approvals, PO/Non-PO invoice scanning & OCR, rules setup, and auto-posting logic.
• Apply SAP Best Practices, S/4HANA innovations (eg RPA), and integration with SAP DRC, BTP, MDG.
• Act as the subject matter expert to guide stakeholders through VIM and S/4HANA capabilities.
• Maintain strong alignment with global teams, ensuring smooth delivery and adoption of VIM solutions.

Key Skills:

• 12+ years in SAP consulting, including hands-on OpenText VIM project experience.
• Proven involvement in S/4HANA and OpenText VIM transformations.
• Strong understanding of AP processes: invoicing, down payments, credit memos.
• Solid knowledge of invoice scanning, OCR, and exception work flows.
• Confident communicator able to translate technical content into business language.
• Bonus: experience integrating VIM with OneSource (tax engine) and SAP DRC.
