OpenText Exstream Developer(Remote)

Summary: The OpenText Exstream Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining customer communication management solutions using OpenText Exstream in a cloud-native environment. The position requires deep technical expertise in the Exstream platform and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The developer will modernize document generation capabilities while ensuring system scalability and performance. This is a long-term remote position focused on delivering effective communication solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, implementation, and support of complex customer communication solutions using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native.
• Develop and manage Exstream applications within a containerized environment using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Architect and build robust, scalable, and secure integrations between Exstream and other enterprise systems, databases, and APIs.
• Create, modify, and manage sophisticated document templates, workflows, and layouts using Exstream Designer, Empower, and other related components.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective solutions.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments for Exstream applications in the Azure cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and failures to maintain system stability and performance.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in CCM, cloud computing, and container orchestration.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the OpenText Exstream platform, including significant experience with recent versions (v23.4 or higher).
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in Communications Designer, Empower, Communication Server, and composition/production workflows.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for application deployment, scaling, and management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages such as Java or C#.
• Strong understanding of data structures and formats like XML, JSON, and flat files.
