OpenSCAD CAD Engineer- Parametric Design

Summary: The OpenSCAD Expert role involves leading projects from requirements gathering to final model export, focusing on parametric design and Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) techniques. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end OpenSCAD projects from requirements gathering through final model export.
• Structure and document parametric scripts with reusable modules and clearly defined parameters.
• Apply Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) techniques to develop complex 3D models and 2D-to-3D extrusions.
• Rapidly iterate on parametric designs, demonstrating logical, script-driven engineering decisions.
• Prepare and export files (STL, OFF, and other standard formats) for manufacturing or prototyping workflows.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clearly explaining design rationale and technical trade-offs.
• Document professional workflows and thought processes to support AI-driven design initiatives.

Key Skills:

• Extensive hands-on experience completing full OpenSCAD projects from concept to final export.
• Strong foundation in CAD principles and CSG methodologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or comparable CAD tools.
