Summary: We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in ReactJS and web mapping/GIS technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with REST APIs and JWT authentication, along with solid engineering practices. This role requires the ability to contribute to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and debugging efforts while working remotely or occasionally traveling to Dallas. The position is contract-based and outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build interactive, high-performance front-end features using ReactJS (Hooks, Functional Components, Design frameworks).
  • Integrate mapping/GIS functionality using ESRI, Leaflet, Google Maps, Mapbox, or similar libraries.
  • Consume and integrate with RESTful APIs secured via JWT (e.g., MSAL), handling authentication flows and token management.
  • Apply ReactJS design best practices, UI component architecture, and ensure UX consistency.
  • Use Git for version control, work in IDEs, write Bash/Shell scripts, and participate in CI/CD workflows to deploy and maintain applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues, participate in SRE processes, and support reliability efforts.
