Summary: The role of OPEN AI Prompt Engineer involves crafting and refining prompts for AI chatbots using advanced Python skills and various NLP libraries. The position requires a strong background in data preparation and analysis, as well as experience in building and testing AI prompts. The engineer will work fully remotely for a global company on a contract basis for three months, focusing on enhancing conversational AI interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft target prompts for AI chatbots.
- Write Python functions to interface with APIs.
- Apply persona-driven prompt techniques with system messages.
- Refine chatbot interactions using API query parameters.
- Manage conversational context and token economy.
- Design sequential step-by-step tasks for LLMs.
- Evaluate AI responses to iteratively improve prompts.
- Enable the build of Agentic Workflows using long Context Prompting for a chain of Thought.
- Generate JSON data with structured outputs.
Key Skills:
- Deep Python skills.
- Experience with LLMs or SSMs.
- Proficiency in NLP libraries like NLTK, SpaCy, or TextBlob.
- Strong data preparation and analysis experience.
- Proven track record in building and testing AI prompts.
- Ability to craft effective prompts using zero-shot, few-shot, and chain-of-thought techniques.
- Experience with OpenAI’s chat completions API.
- Knowledge of conversational context management and token economy.
