Job Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities

• Web Application Development Design develop and maintain web applications using ESRIs ArcGIS API for JavaScript and other web technologies
• User Interface Design Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces that enhance user experience
• Integration Integrate GIS data and services into web applications ensuring seamless functionality and performance
• Collaboration Work closely with GIS analysts developers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Testing and Debugging Perform thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure high quality and performance
• Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for web applications including design specifications user guides and technical manuals

Qualifications

• Education Bachelors degree in computer science IT GIS or a related field
• Experience 9 - 14 years of experience in web development with a focus on ESRI ArcGIS
• Technical Skills Proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS and ESRIs ArcGIS API for JavaScript Experience with frontend frameworks eg React Typescript Angular Vue
• Certifications Relevant certifications such as ESRI Technical Certification are preferred
• Soft Skills Strong analytical and problemsolving skills excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with developing and deploying web applications in cloud environments
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• Knowledge of spatial data management and GIS concepts
