Summary: The OneStream Planning Consultant is tasked with gathering business requirements and implementing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting solutions within the OneStream platform. This role serves as a liaison between finance stakeholders and technical teams to enhance enterprise performance management processes. The position is remote and is offered as a long-term contract. The consultant will also provide training and support to end-users while troubleshooting system issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for planning and forecasting processes.
- Design and configure OneStream applications, workflows, dashboards, and reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial modeling initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and IT teams to identify process improvements.
- Develop and maintain business rules, calculations, and data integrations.
- Perform testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide end-user training and ongoing production support.
- Troubleshoot system issues and recommend enhancements.
- Create functional and technical documentation.
- Participate in OneStream implementation and upgrade projects.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with OneStream XF implementation, administration, or support.
- Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into system solutions.
- Knowledge of data integration concepts, ETL processes, and financial data structures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
