ODI Developer (VISA INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES ONLY)

Summary: The ODI Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). The position requires strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, along with experience in data warehouse concepts and production support. The developer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving data issues while collaborating with various teams to ensure data accuracy and performance. This role is remote and is open to visa-independent candidates only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Write and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages.
• Perform data loads, transformations, aggregations, and remediation activities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ODI job failures and performance issues.
• Support production issues, including data corrections and reprocessing.
• Work with OBIEE teams to support reporting and data validation.
• Analyze data discrepancies and provide root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with DBAs and upstream/downstream teams for issue resolution.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance tuning.
• Provide support during critical releases, month-end, and urgent issues (including late nights if required).

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience working with Oracle Data Warehouse concepts.
• Working knowledge of OBIEE (report validation, data analysis, backend understanding).
• Experience in production support and incident handling.
• Ability to analyze and resolve performance and data issues.
