Summary: The Nursing & Advanced Practice AI Trainer will utilize clinical expertise to develop and curate training materials for AI systems aimed at supporting nurses and advanced practitioners. This role involves creating real-world case studies, validating AI prompts, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure clinical accuracy. The trainer will also continuously update training materials in line with evolving clinical guidelines. This position can be full-time or part-time and is remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and curate high-quality clinical training materials for AI systems, focusing on advanced nursing and patient care scenarios.
- Apply your expertise in clinical assessment to simulate comprehensive patient evaluations for AI training purposes.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment by creating real-world case studies that reflect complex patient management and evidence-based decision-making.
- Design and validate AI prompts that require advanced patient care and treatment management, including acute and chronic scenario modeling.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring models accurately reflect the communication dynamics between nurses, providers, patients, and families.
- Review and provide feedback on AI-generated content for clinical accuracy, relevancy, and clarity.
- Continuously update training materials and protocols in response to evolving clinical guidelines and best practices.
Key Skills:
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) or ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing), with active nursing registration in the country of practice.
- Successful completion of national RN licensure exam (e.g., NCLEX-RN in the U.S.).
- Demonstrated proficiency in comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic interpretation, and evidence-based clinical decisions.
- Proven expertise in managing both acute and chronic patient conditions, including medication management and advanced procedural skills, where licensed.
- Exceptional clinical judgment, able to prioritize interventions and adjust care plans in rapidly evolving situations.
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills, vital for collaboratively training AI and contributing to interdisciplinary team success.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence in all training activities.
