Summary: The Nokia SSP - NPC Engineer role involves deploying and integrating Nokia Policy Controller products in a cloud environment. The engineer will be responsible for installation, verification, troubleshooting, and ensuring successful integration with peer nodes. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare installation MOP & deployment artefacts for application.
- Verify cloud environment and perform installation.
- Conduct rollback procedures and Root Cause Analysis for installation failures.
- Perform health checks and ensure application performance post-installation.
- Integrate applications with peer nodes as per deployment requirements.
- Engage in project delivery activities, including writing RSV rules and running acceptance activities.
- Support testing execution and acceptance.
- Develop and validate policy rules.
- Prepare high/low level design and test strategy.
- Provide troubleshooting and reporting.
- Maintain tracking reports.
Key Skills:
- Experience with SW Telco solutions and integration.
- Knowledge of 4G & 5G networks and call flows.
- Experience in application integration projects within telecom.
- Competence in TCP/IP/TLS and main protocols (Diameter, HTTP2, SIP, etc.).
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies (VNF, CNF) and platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
- CKA certification or strong knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with mobile network integration, VoLTE, and IMS.
- Understanding of NW architectures/products and international standards (3GPP/ETSI).
- Basic knowledge of policy software solutions.
- Experience with Unix/Linux OS and databases.

Job Description:
Keyword - Nokia Policy Controller Product Deployment /Integration
Prepare the installation MOP & deployment artefacts for application
Verification of cloud environment (image, flavor, network etc.) and perform installation.
If the installation is not successful, perform the rollback procedure as defined in the
MOP and conduct a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for the failure.
If the installation is successful, do the health check of the system and ensure all the applications are performing correctly.
Integrate the application with other peer nodes as per the deployment
The NPC Deployment Engineer will be assigned to Project Delivery Activities as main responsible for deployment of cloud native NPC application, will be responsible for integration activities, writing RSV rules, running acceptance activities with customer, ensuring the proper implementation of requirements, in close cooperation with the project team & all other stakeholders.

Technical Skills & Experience:

Competences on TCP/IP/TLS & main Protocols: Diameter (Gx-Rx-Sy-Sd)/ HTTP2(N7-N15-N28-N36)/ SIP / Sigtran / SOAP-XML / SNMP
Working Cloud knowledge (VNF, CNF) & related products (CBIS/CBAM NCS/NCP/AWS/OCP/Google Cloud Platform) or platform VMware/OpenStack
CKA certified or very good knowledge with strong hand-Ons on Kubernetes
