Summary: The Node.js Developer role is a long-term contract position focused on building scalable microservices within a cloud-native environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices in a cloud-native environment.
- Utilize Node.js for backend service development.
- Implement containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Work with API Gateways such as APIGee or Mulesoft.
- Collaborate with DevOps tools including GitHub/GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible.
Key Skills:
- Strong Node.js development experience.
- Expertise in Microservices Architecture & Design Patterns.
- Proficient with containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with API Gateways (APIGee, Mulesoft, or Endpoints).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools: GitHub/GitLab, Terraform, CLI, Ansible.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
