Networking - Senior Engineer

Job Description

• Experience in low-level network programming.
• Systems Programming: Mastery of C, C++, and Go for high-performance networking software.
• Network Stack: Deep background in Linux network stack internals, socket layers, and packet processing.
• Hardware & Drivers: Hands-on experience developing or integrating network drivers for NVIDIA BlueField (BF3/BF4) SmartNICs and ConnectX (CX8/CX9) network interface cards.

Job Responsibilities

• Port internal network daemons and tools (Goblin, Comet, golinject) to run natively on ARM host environments.
• Implement driver support and host integrations for BlueField SmartNICs and ConnectX NICs on ARM host servers.
• Investigate and resolve low-level network driver, PCIe device, and packet-drop integration issues.
• Conduct performance tuning and packet-throughput profiling on high-speed network interfaces.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Note

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely to be $ 130,000 to $145,000 and reflects base salary only.
