Summary: The Network Tools Engineer role involves supporting multiple tools as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a remote capacity.   • System administration experience for Windows, Solaris, and RHEL OS.
  • Scripting (.bat and .sh).
  • Knowledge of Java and Perl is a plus.
  • Strong investigation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-starter with limited direction.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with automation tools and job management.
  • AWS Certification and knowledge of tools is a plus.
  • College degree or 5-10 years of technical experience.

Description:

Tools team member to support multiple tools within account working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The position requires the ability to manage and troubleshoot as well as plan and implement releases/patches/upgrades. The tool SME updates documentation, manages (create/update/close/resolve) change/incident tickets. SME follows ITSM processes for tasks to complete installs and validations.
