Network Security Engineer

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years in Enterprise Network Security Architecture/Engineering
• 5+ years designing Cloud, Hybrid & On-Prem Network Security
• Strong experience with Firewall Governance, firewall rule reviews & approvals
• Expertise in Network Segmentation, Zero Trust (ZTNA), ACLs, Trust Boundaries
• Experience with WAF, IDS/IPS, DLP, DNS Security, Proxy, Load Balancing, DDoS Protection
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Network Security (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with Logging & Monitoring Architectures
• Hands-on with Enterprise Security Architecture and compliance standards
• Excellent stakeholder communication & cross-functional collaboration

Preferred

• Healthcare or other highly regulated industry experience
• Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) / Acquired Entity integrations
• Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CCNP Security, PCNSE, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform Security
• Experience using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or enterprise AI tools

Key Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise network security architecture
• Review and approve firewall requests and network connectivity
• Implement secure segmentation, Zero Trust, WAF, IDS/IPS, DLP, DNS, Proxy, Logging
• Support cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and acquisition integrations
• Collaborate with Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to deliver secure solutions.
