Detailed Description From Employer:

Company Description We’re a small non-profit, but what we do makes a difference across the Welsh public services landscape. We are funded by our members, grant funders, and our own consultancy and training activity. Our aim is to transform public services through co-production and citizen involvement. When citizens and professionals work in partnership, services are improved and better meet people’s needs, and communities grow in resilience. In the current landscape of dwindling public resources and increasing demand, co-production and citizen involvement offer a compelling approach to bringing positive, sustainable change to public services and communities.

Role Description The role of the Network Officer supports our growing membership network, delivers our external communications and helps to administer our e-learning programme. You will be providing a solid foundation for the network to build upon in order to extend both our reach and impact.

What your week would look like:

  • Drafting our regular newsletter, linking in with the team and our networks to gather the latest updates on co-production practice across Wales and beyond.
  • Organising a #CoproConversation event for our members on a topic that matters to them – asking members what they are interested in, finding speakers and coordinating the online event.
  • Meeting with potential new members, outlining what our community of practice can offer them on their co-production journey.
  • Designing and disseminating promotional materials for our latest round of co-production training.
  • Working with the team to plan and deliver our annual Co-pro Week Wales celebrations.
