Summary: The Network Engineer role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure, primarily utilizing Arista networking technologies and Palo Alto Networks security solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure utilizing Arista wired and wireless networking solutions.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking environments.
  • Support and manage Palo Alto Networks (PAN) firewalls and security platforms.
  • Implement and maintain modern routing protocols and network architectures, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, ECMP, and High Availability (HA) designs.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security across corporate and cloud environments.
  • Support cloud networking and security initiatives within AWS.
  • Administer and maintain AWS WAF policies and protections for web applications.
  • Provide operational support for existing FortiGate Web Application Firewall (WAF) environments and assist with migration or decommissioning efforts.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and network optimization projects.
  • Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Arista wired networking (switching and routing).
  • Experience supporting Arista wireless solutions.

This role will focus primarily on Arista networking technologies and Palo Alto Networks security solutions, with additional responsibility for supporting and transitioning legacy Fortinet/FortiGate WAF environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with modern routing and switching concepts, wireless networking, network security, and cloud-based web application security controls.

Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure utilizing Arista wired and wireless networking solutions.
