Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day operations and maintenance of a Cisco-based network environment, ensuring stability across existing infrastructure during a multi-year transition.
- Provide routing expertise within a service provider network, including troubleshooting, optimization, and augmentation of current deployments.
- Assist with network evolution efforts, contributing to the migration toward the company’s standardized network topology over time.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to maintain performance KPIs and avoid disruption to ongoing network initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing in service provider environments (SR-level expertise preferred).
- Experience with Cisco firewalls and network security fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, and network infrastructure operations.
- Ability to work within live production environments focused on maintenance and continuity.
- Experience supporting or transitioning legacy networks to standardized architectures.
