Summary: We are seeking a Network Engineer with expertise in Equinix and Aviatrix to design, implement, and manage enterprise and cloud network environments. The role requires hands-on experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and network security. This is a long-term remote position with a focus on optimizing network performance and ensuring compliance with security policies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to enhance network architecture and deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Manage and configure Equinix interconnection services, colocation environments, and network connectivity solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Aviatrix multi-cloud networking solutions for secure cloud connectivity and traffic optimization.
  • Configure and troubleshoot VPNs, BGP, routing, switching, firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Support hybrid cloud connectivity between on-premise data centers and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security to ensure high uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams for network architecture and deployments.
  • Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
  • Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration standards.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for cloud and network environments.
  • Participate in change management, patching, and upgrade activities.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
  • Hands-on experience with Equinix services including Equinix Fabric, colocation, or interconnection solutions.
  • Strong experience with Aviatrix multi-cloud networking and cloud transit architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, VLANs, VPN, NAT, MPLS.
  • Experience with cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, or Arista networking devices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience with automation/scripting (Python, Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of network security, segmentation, and zero-trust architecture.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Equinix infrastructure and Aviatrix cloud networking to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise and cloud network environments.
