Summary: The Network Engineer (Network Automation) role involves working remotely on a 6-month contract to support a leading global travel agency in a large-scale data center migration.   • Deep understanding of routing and switching, the TCP/IP stack, and protocols such as BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, IPv6, and MPLS.
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale data centre networks.
  • Experience with private cloud network virtualization.
  • Familiarity with multi-vendor networking environments.
  • Proven track record in incident management and vendor coordination.

Digital Skills is proud to partner with a leading global travel agency in the search for an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in Data Center networking and Network Automation.

As part of the Networking team, you'll play a key role in delivering a large-scale lift-and-shift data centre migration, which includes designing, building, and deploying new network infrastructure. You'll be instrumental in improving automation, monitoring, and network stability across a globally distributed environment. Working closely with network and IT teams across the world, you'll contribute to a fast-paced, high-impact program in a rapidly scaling business.

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining network automation stacks (using Python)
  • Strong knowledge of zero-touch provisioning and automated configuration management
