Role: Network Engineer
Rate: £250–£280 per day
Duration: Initial 2 months, with potential for extension
IR35: Outside IR35
Location: Remote, with travel to West Midlands and Southern locations including Reading and Bath when required
Start: Immediate
Key responsibilities & skills
- Configure routers and switches in line with network design documentation
- Racking and stacking network devices within data centres
- Strong experience across Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN technologies
- Strong understanding of switching, IP addressing and networking best practice
- Expert-level experience with Cisco routers and switches , including platforms such as:
- Cisco 3850
- Cisco Nexus 9K
- Cisco ISR
- Cisco ASR
- Experience working within enterprise or telecoms network environments
Essential
- Live and active SC clearance
- Strong Cisco networking experience
- Immediate or near-immediate availability
