Network Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Network Engineer with 11+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong core networking expertise, with working exposure to basic QA/testing concepts as a plus (not a primary requirement).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, routing, and switching infrastructure across enterprise environments
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Implement and monitor network security protocols, VPNs, and firewall policies
• Plan and execute network capacity upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery strategies
• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG, or similar
• Configure and manage cloud networking components (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, or similar)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (infra, security, application) to resolve connectivity and performance issues
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and SOPs
• Support basic validation/testing of network changes before production rollout (light QA involvement — not a dedicated testing role)
• Provide L3 support and mentor junior network engineers

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in network engineering/administration
• Strong expertise in routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet devices
• Solid understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Basic exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
• Working knowledge of scripting (Python/Bash) for automation is a plus
• Basic understanding of QA/testing concepts (e.g., validating network changes, UAT support) — not deep QA expertise required
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
