Summary: The Network Engineer role requires extensive experience in network engineering, particularly within electronic and algorithmic trading environments.   • Experience with switching technologies including STP, PC/vPC/MLAG, CDP/LLDP, QoS, HSRP/VRRP, VLAN/VxLAN.
  • In-depth experience with Cisco Nexus network switching and routing hardware/software.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring tools and PCAP decoding.

  • 20+ Years of total industry experience
  • Strong knowledge on Electronic and Algo Trading Platforms, Feed Handlers, Order Routers, Smart Order Routers, FIX protocols
  • Exchange binary FIX protocols such as OUCH also ITCH.
  • Strong Network engineering and project delivery experience
  • Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols
  • Experience with Unicast: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, IPSEC and GRE
  • Experience with Switching: STP, PC/vPC/MLAG, CDP/LLDP, QoS, HSRP/VRRP, VLAN/VxLAN, Spine and Leaf infrastructures.
  • In-depth experience with Cisco Nexus network switching, routing hardware and software
  • In-depth experience with Cisco Nexus network switching, routing hardware and software
  • Knowledge of network monitoring PCAP decoding tools landscape (Corvil, SFlow, timestamping (PTP) preferred but not required)
