Network Engineer (FortiGate & Azure) - Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support Azure hybrid networking solutions.
• Manage ExpressRoute connectivity and BGP routing.
• Administer and maintain FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
• Support Azure Firewall and Virtual WAN environments.
• Produce and maintain network architecture and operational documentation.
• Provide 3rd line support and assist with cut-over and transition activities.

Essential Skills

• Strong FortiGate Firewall administration experience.
• Extensive Azure networking expertise.
• Hands-on experience with ExpressRoute and BGP.
• Knowledge of Azure Firewall, Virtual WAN, and hybrid networking.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, and network security.
• Experience supporting infrastructure migrations or coexistence programmes.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Fortinet NSE4 (or equivalent)
• Microsoft AZ-700
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP
