Summary: The role of Network Engineer focuses on providing advanced technical support within a Managed Services Operations Centre (MSOC), ensuring the stability and performance of customer network environments. The engineer will work with various enterprise networking technologies, acting as a senior escalation point and contributing to service excellence in a 24x7 environment. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality managed services. The role is fully remote and involves a contract of an initial six months or more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd/3rd line Network support and act as the final technical escalation point within the MSOC
- Ensure the stability, performance, and availability of customer network environments
- Manage incidents, changes, and service requests in line with ITIL processes and SLA commitments
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex networking and infrastructure issues
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and ticket updates within ServiceNow
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rota as required
Key Skills:
- Proven capability delivering senior-level (2nd/3rd line) network support
- CCNP and/or Juniper network qualifications
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills
- Confident customer-facing communication and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities

Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Network Engineer to support a Managed Services Operations Centre (MSOC). This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing customer network environments, acting as a senior technical escalation point, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality managed services.
You will work across a diverse customer base, supporting modern enterprise networking technologies including Juniper Mist, Aruba, Cisco, and leading Firewall platforms, while contributing to service excellence and continuous improvement within a 24x7 managed services environment.

Skills & Experience Required
