Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic routing/switching issues.
- Support network installations, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
- Perform network health checks and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Assist senior network engineers with network projects and implementations.
- Document network configurations, changes, incidents, and troubleshooting activities.
- Work with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve network-related issues.
- Follow network security, change-management, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and VPNs.
- Knowledge of routing and switching concepts.
- Hands-on exposure to Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Basic understanding of firewalls and network security.
- Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
