Summary: The Network Engineer role is a 6-month contract position focused on supporting a business transition by onboarding new networking hardware. The contractor will leverage their expertise in Cisco networking and related technologies to facilitate this transition. The position is remote with occasional travel to the office in either Leeds or Manchester. Applicants must hold a UK Passport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the transition of the network and onboarding of new networking hardware.
• Implement and manage Cisco networking solutions.
• Work with Palo Alto Firewalls, Azure Vnets, and cloud networking technologies.
• Utilize load balancing, WAN, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Implement OSPF, BGP, and IS-IS protocols.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Cisco networking and network management.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls and Azure Vnets.
• Experience with cloud networking, load balancing, WAN, and SD-WAN.
• Proficiency in OSPF, BGP, and IS-IS implementation.
• Must have a UK Passport.
