The Network Domain Architect leads the end-to-end DDI architecture for a greenfield Infoblox deployment spanning Azure Cloud and the CCH Data Center. You will own the high-level and low-level designs, drive stakeholder alignment, and ensure the architecture supports high availability, security integration, IPv6 readiness, and long-term operability.
- 8+ years in network engineering/architecture with 5+ years designing enterprise DDI solutions (DNS/DHCP/IPAM).
- Deep expertise in Infoblox NIOS: Grid Masters/Members, replication, anycast, and Grid security.
- Advanced DNS knowledge: zones, views (internal/external/DMZ), forwarding, recursion, split-horizon DNS, DNSSEC.
- Advanced DHCP knowledge: scopes, options, reservations, failover, load balancing, HA models.
- IPAM experience: network discovery, policy automation, address allocation workflows, and IPv4/IPv6 planning.
- Experience integrating with Azure cloud networking, data center networks, firewalls, and Active Directory/LDAP.
- Proven HLD/LLD authoring and design review sign-off experience in client-facing environments.
Preferred:
- Infoblox certifications (e.g., IICNA / IICNE) or equivalent DDI vendor credentials.
- Experience with cloud-hybrid DDI architectures (Azure + on-prem data center).
- PDIOO or similar methodology experience; agile delivery (Jira/Confluence) proficiency.
- Experience leading UAT and operational handover/knowledge transfer for infrastructure platforms.
