Network Cloud Engineer- Remote in Mexico

Summary: The role of Network Cloud Engineer involves working with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud, focusing on infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security. The position requires expertise in various technologies including containers, cloud networking, and scripting. This is a remote position based in Mexico, emphasizing the implementation of cloud security controls and disaster recovery plans. The candidate will also be responsible for managing cloud architectures and automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize public cloud platforms: AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline and Gitlab CD.
• Manage strong SO skills in Windows and Linux environments, including Windows AD and VDI.
• Work with containers (EKS, Fargate) and No-SQL databases (Dynamo, Neptune, DocumentDB).
• Oversee cloud networking and security measures.
• Implement configuration management using AWS SSM or Ansible.
• Specialize in DevSecOps practices.
• Design AWS serverless architectures.
• Implement cloud security controls and manage VPC and networking architecture in AWS.
• Execute disaster recovery planning in cloud architectures.
• Demonstrate strong scripting and automation skills in bash, python, go, and ansible.
• Manage Route 53 DNS and public/private SSL certificates.
• Possess basic knowledge of firewalls, preferably Cisco.

Key Skills:

• Experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like CodePipeline and Gitlab CD.
• Strong skills in Windows and Linux operating systems.
