Network Cloud Architect - Remote / Telecommute

Summary: The Network Cloud Architect role involves extensive hands-on experience with various networking technologies and products, including cloud networking, routing protocols, and network security. The position requires a strong understanding of VPC setup, configuration, and performance planning, along with the ability to diagnose complex network issues. The architect will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and participate in strategic planning for network infrastructure. This role is primarily remote or hybrid based in Cary, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

• Good understanding on VPC setup, configuration etc.,
• Good knowledge and understanding Direct connect configuration,
• Good understanding on Resource manager
• Good knowledge and understanding on Virtual private gateway.
• Good knowledge and understanding on Transit Gateway and Routing knowledge (BGP).
• Client Performance and capacity planning: audit, monitor, analyze and reconfigure network environments for performance improvements and future scalability.
• Client Diagnose and resolve complex network problems.
• Client Develop disaster recovery and fault tolerance plans.
• Client Network SME will lead complex projects involving the planning, design, installation, technical support and network audit of data information technology solutions.
• Client To configure and implement local and wide area network, internet platforms and the network management and associated diagnostic tools to support new and existing technology architectures.
• Client Make decisions independently on Information Systems problems and methods. The knowledge and expertise required at this level of work usually results from progressive work experience.
• Client Projects are carried out independently and new ideas are proposed and implemented for cost reduction and application or infrastructure enhancements.
• Client Participate in 3-5-year roadmap planning and forecasting.
• Client Mentor junior engineers on networking technologies, standards, methodologies, and procedures.
• Client Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of network standards and documentation.
• Client Participate in developing long-term strategic, capacity and performance planning objectives and goals.
• Client Coordinate efforts to isolate and resolve network and security related issues.
• Client Participate in IT and corporate-lead initiatives.
• Client Research new technology and evaluate its viability.
• Client Lead the evaluation, testing, selection, and implementation of:
• Client Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
• Client Internet Connectivity
• Client Network Management
• Client Diagnostic tool
• Client Excellent ITIL Knowledge Incident, Change, Configuration, Problem Management
• Client Excellent Problem analysis and resolution skills (RCA).
• Client Experienced in risk/issue management, priority setting and follow up.
• Client Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be able to clearly communicate with the customer and be able to present solutions to customers.
