Summary: This role is for a Network Automation Engineer specializing in AWS China and Alibaba Cloud, focusing on architecting, deploying, and maintaining cloud network environments. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure secure and compliant cloud architectures while optimizing network performance. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud/AWS China networking services and a strong understanding of routing and security technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud network environments within Alibaba Cloud/AWS China.
- Design and support hybrid networking using Alibaba Cloud's global backbone and China mainland connectivity services.
- Configure and optimize routing, security groups, firewalls, and traffic engineering policies across multi-region environments.
- Implement monitoring and visibility tools for network performance, security, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot latency, routing, DNAT/SNAT, and private link issues within Aliyun infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and application teams to ensure cloud architectures are secure, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
- Maintain documentation of network standards, diagrams, and operational playbooks.
- Stay current on Alibaba Cloud platform updates, service improvements, and China specific networking constraints.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud/AWS China networking services and global networking concepts.
- Strong understanding of routing (BGP/OSPF), firewalls, load balancing, and WAN technologies.
