Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Network Architect – SME to design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise in network architecture, security, performance, and troubleshooting, along with the ability to provide technical leadership on complex network projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise network architectures.
- Lead network design, implementation, migration, and optimization projects.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex network issues.
- Develop network architecture, HLD/LLD, and technical documentation.
- Monitor network performance and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues.
- Evaluate new networking technologies and recommend suitable solutions.
- Ensure network solutions comply with security and organizational standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to network engineering teams.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in enterprise network architecture and design.
- Hands-on expertise in Routing & Switching.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network protocols.
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, and high-availability technologies.
- Good knowledge of network security, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with networking technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of network monitoring and performance management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent.
- Experience with data center and hybrid-cloud networking.
- Knowledge of network automation and tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
