Summary: The Network Architect role involves leading the design and implementation of complex network architectures for a high-profile Central Government programme. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a secure and resilient network. The role is primarily remote but may involve some presence in London. Candidates must hold UKSV SC Clearance and be prepared to work inside IR35 regulations.

  • Drive strategic decisions across on-prem and cloud-integrated environments

  • Strong background in enterprise network architecture & delivery (large-scale programmes)
  • Deep expertise across:
    • Routing & switching
    • Load balancing & VPNs
    • Data Centre LAN/WAN & DNS
    • Network segmentation
  • Solid understanding of network security principles
  • Exposure to network automation & monitoring tools
  • Experience managing suppliers and influencing stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership & communication skills

We're partnering with a leading consultancy delivering into a high-profile Central Government programme, and we're looking for an experienced Network Architect to play a pivotal role in designing and evolving a secure, resilient, and high-performing network.
