Summary: The role of Infrastructure Network Architect involves validating the end-to-end network architecture within a multi-vendor Data Centre and WAN environment. The position requires expertise in core Data Centre and WAN architectures, as well as Kubernetes network integration. The role is remote but requires occasional travel to Frankfurt for client site work. This is a 3-month initial contract with a large consultancy firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate end-to-end network architecture in a multi-vendor Data Centre and WAN environment.
  • Work on core Data Centre and WAN architectures.
  • Integrate Kubernetes network solutions.
  • Implement DPU-based solutions.
  • Manage IXP connectivity.
  • Utilize DNS, DHCP, or IPAM effectively.

I am recruiting for a large consultancy who are hiring for an Infrastructure Network Architect to validate the end-to-end network architecture with the alignment of a Multi-vendor Data Centre & WAN Environment.

Must-Haves for the Role:

  • Demonstratable experience working on Core Data Centre and Wide Area Network (WAN) architectures
  • Experience working on Kubernetes Network integration
  • Knowledge of working on DPU-based Solutions
  • Comfortability in IXP Connectivity
  • Well experienced in DNS, DHCP or IPAM
  • Ability to travel to Frankfurt on occasion for 1 week at a time to work on end client site

Nice to haves:

  • Working experience working in the Utilities sector
  • Immediately available
