Summary: The Network Architect role at a leading IT consultancy involves designing and implementing end-to-end network solutions while collaborating with the architecture team and supporting customer engagements. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end network solutions and lead technical implementation.
- Deliver High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs).
- Work collaboratively with the broader architecture team to design and refine solutions.
- Act as technical lead for network projects, ensuring customer requirements are fully met.
- Provide expertise and guidance on architectural and technical issues.
- Produce blueprints, design documentation, and drive approvals with internal teams and customers.
- Create hardware Bill of Materials (BoM) for network solutions.
- Continuously expand knowledge across networking technologies and product sets.
- Build trusted relationships with customers through strong communication and consultancy skills.
- Support and mentor team members to enhance capability across the practice.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Network certifications (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper etc.)—minimum CCNP level or equivalent.
- NG Firewall expertise (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point) — ideally certified at CCSE or equivalent.
- Strong experience with switching, routing, and firewalls.
- Proven experience delivering HLDs/LLDs.
- Experience in networking across LAN, WAN, Remote Access, and Data Centre environments.
- Experience with major firewall technologies.
- Experience serving as Architecture/Design Authority on large-scale projects.
- Strong capability delivering high-quality technical and architectural documentation.
- Cloud knowledge across Public, Private, and Hybrid environments.
