Summary: The NetSuite Technical Architect FAM/Finance will spearhead the assessment, design, and optimization of NetSuite Fixed Assets Management and Record-to-Report processes. This role demands extensive techno-functional expertise to evaluate existing systems, conduct fit-gap analyses, and establish scalable architecture. Collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Enterprise Systems teams is essential to deliver effective solutions throughout the fixed asset lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead NetSuite FAM fit-gap assessment across current processes, configurations, reports, and integrations.
  • Analyze existing system design, business workflows, and accounting treatments to identify gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Define end-to-end future-state architecture for fixed asset lifecycle processes, including capitalization, CIP, depreciation, revaluation, transfers, and disposal.
  • Evaluate interactions between FAM and upstream/downstream functions such as procurement, inventory, projects, and general ledger.
  • Recommend optimal solutions using NetSuite native capabilities, configurations, workflows, SuiteScript, and integrations.
  • Review financial transaction flows to ensure accurate posting logic, reconciliation, auditability, and subledger integrity.
  • Identify gaps in asset accounting processes such as capitalization rules, depreciation methods, and retirement/disposal handling.
  • Provide scalable design recommendations aligned with business, operational, and compliance requirements.

Job Summary
