Job Title: NetSuite Systems Analyst / Functional Consultant

Location: Anywhere in the United States (Preference for Minneapolis, MN area Northeast Minneapolis)

Duration: 6 months, with potential extension + goal of eventual CTH

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle NetSuite professional to support two operating companies. This role is a blend of Business Systems Analyst (BSA), Business Analyst (BA), and NetSuite functional/development responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be able to work directly with business stakeholders, gather requirements, translate business needs into system solutions, and perform hands-on NetSuite configuration and development activities as needed. This position is more heavily weighted toward functional systems analysis and business engagement, but NetSuite development experience is also required.

This is a mix of functional and development. I d say 70/30 or 60/40.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and stakeholders across partner companies to understand business processes and system needs.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
• Recommend and implement enhancements within the Oracle NetSuite environment.
• Serve as the liaison between business users and technical resources.
• Provide guidance and direction on NetSuite best practices and solution design.
• Configure and enhance NetSuite functionality to support operational requirements.
• Perform hands-on NetSuite development and customization as needed.
• Support ongoing improvement initiatives and system optimization efforts.
• Help drive projects independently from requirements gathering through implementation.

Environment

• Oracle NetSuite ERP
• Tenant utilizes the NetSuite web portal/eCommerce functionality
• Multiple operating companies with varying business process needs
• Highly collaborative environment requiring strong stakeholder engagement

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Oracle NetSuite administration, configuration, and support.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into system solutions.
• Business Systems Analyst and/or Business Analyst background.
• Ability to work directly with business leaders and operational stakeholders.
• Experience implementing NetSuite enhancements and process improvements.
• Strong communication and consulting skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• NetSuite development experience (SuiteScript, workflows, customizations, integrations).
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, steel, construction, or industrial organizations.
• Experience with NetSuite eCommerce/web portal functionality.
• Located in or near Minneapolis, Minnesota (preferred, but not required).

Ideal Candidate: This role is best suited for a functional NetSuite consultant who can engage with the business, gather requirements, provide strategic direction, and also perform light-to-moderate
