Summary: The role of NetSuite Consultant/Business Analyst (eCommerce) involves supporting a global not-for-profit organization by leveraging expertise in NetSuite to enhance finance-related workflows. The consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and facilitate testing and implementation activities. This position is crucial for ensuring that the NetSuite platform adapts to the organization's evolving business needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business users and stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive business requirements for NetSuite and BigCommerce platforms.
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios, aligned with Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure all requirements are complete, consistent, and aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with development teams to refine and prioritise the product backlog.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure platform changes meet business requirements.
  • Identify, escalate, and help mitigate risks and issues that may impact scope, quality, or timelines.
  • Provide training and support to business users to encourage adoption of the NetSuite platform.
  • Maintain strong alignment with Finance operations, including product, order, inventory, customer management, and reporting.
  • Utilise tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello for documentation and collaboration.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on NetSuite.
  • Experience with BigCommerce or similar eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and operations.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite customisation, including themes, apps, APIs, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Salary (Rate): £650.00/daily
