Summary: We are looking for a skilled Network/Security Engineer to support our Identity and Access Management (IAM) program using the NetIQ IAM Suite by OpenText. The role involves managing IAM systems, ensuring compliance, and enhancing security measures for workforce and customer identity services. The position is remote and requires collaboration with IT teams to align IAM with compliance standards. The contract duration is 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage NetIQ Identity Manager, Access Manager, eDirectory, and Identity Governance modules.
- Integrate IAM systems with cloud (e.g., AWS IAM) and on-prem applications (e.g., Epic via NetIQ integration).
- Design and enforce security controls: lifecycle provisioning/deprovisioning, MFA, SSO.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network/security issues related to IAM infrastructure.
- Assist in firewall rules reviews and other network policy governance.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure IAM aligns with compliance (HIPAA, SOX, zero trust).
- Support incident investigations and respond to IAM-related events.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in network, security, or IAM engineering ideally with NetIQ/OpenText tools.
- Strong working knowledge of NetIQ Identity Manager, Access Manager, and eDirectory.
- Hands-on experience integrating IAM with cloud providers (AWS IAM) and enterprise applications.
- Solid background in SSO, MFA, roles & entitlement management, zero-trust models.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (HIPAA, CIS benchmarks, SOX).
- Proficient in firewall and network security technologies; capable of reviewing policy requests. Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
