Summary: This role is for a Certified Microsoft .NET Developer focused on developing and supporting critical applications related to Unemployment Insurance processing for the State of Wisconsin. Candidates must be current residents of Wisconsin and will work 100% remotely within the state. The position requires extensive experience in ASP .NET, .NET Core, and related technologies, particularly in a government or case management context. Competitive compensation is offered based on the client bill rate, with a low margin for consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support critical priority applications on the Tax/Employer side of Unemployment Insurance application processing.
- Utilize ASP .NET and .NET Core for application development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure application functionality meets requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
- Work within the DWD's development environment, leveraging previous experience in government or case management systems.
Key Skills:
- 12+ years' experience in ASP .NET with at least 3 years in .NET Core.
- 10+ years' experience with Oracle/Db2.
- 10+ years' experience with WCF - Windows Communication Foundation.
- Experience with C#.
- Web Accessibility coding.
- Batch Processing and Control M.
