Summary: The role of a .NET Full Stack Developer for Homes England involves developing and operating user-centric digital services as part of a multi-disciplinary team. On behalf of Homes England, we are looking for a .NET Full Stack Developer (Inside IR35) for a 7 Month contract based REMOTELY with occasional vists to offices UK wide.

As a .NET full stack developer you will have experience of developing and operating highly usable and accessible services that meet the needs of their users. You will be a full stack developer with technical experience across several domain areas: Front End, Back End, database, cloud infrastructure, on-premise, systems integration, greenfield and Legacy solutions. You will adapt to the needs of your multi-disciplinary team, will be pragmatic, will have the experience needed to work on a variety of systems and to solve complex problems.

As a full stack developer you will deliver and integrate software to form complete services by:
. Contributing to assuring the quality of development across teams

Job accountabilities and responsibilities:
. You will develop and support complex digital services as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working to user needs, service design expectations and agreed priorities.
. You will ensure that security, data protection, performance, capacity, recovery, logging, monitoring and other non-functional design needs and operational requirements are baked into the implementation of our digital services, protecting our customer data and minimising cybersecurity threats.
. You will prototype emerging technologies, or technical solutions to user needs and measure the effectiveness of these changes on our end-to-end services.
. You will update and upgrade our services, ensuring they are effectively maintained, and that technical debt is managed and addressed appropriately throughout their lifetime.
. You will apply your problem-solving skills both to the resolution of issues with the services you support, and to continuously improve on the working practices within your team.

Key experience
. Experience contributing to software solutions and resolving complex issues within a large and complex digital transformation programme.
. Experience of working with technical delivery within a multi-disciplinary agile team.
. Experience in the use of several of the following technologies: .NET Framework and .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, T-SQL, Azure, Angular, Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Flow, Dynamics 365.
. Proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with experience of building accessible, secure and scalable Internet services that conform to WCAG.
. Experience building and managing secure APIs and microservices that integrate with third-party solutions and Legacy systems
. Experienced in the application of SOLID principles and the use of software design patterns that create sustainable solutions and support reuse
. Experienced in best practice software development, Test Driven Development and with experience of using CI/CD pipelines and environments

Desirable education & qualifications
. Degree in a computing related subject or equivalent experience
. Professional certifications in Azure or .NET development or Power Apps
