.Net Developer – GDS, OOAD, .Net Core, RESTful

Summary: The role of a .Net Developer involves working on a critical Government Digital Service (GDS) programme for a high-profile client. The position requires expertise in C#, .Net Core, RESTful web services, and microservices, with a focus on developing solutions in an Azure Containerised environment. The developer will be expected to deliver within SAFe programmes and utilize various design patterns and testing methodologies. The role is primarily remote but requires UK residency and eligibility for BPSS clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain C# .Net applications within a GDS environment.
• Implement RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Utilize object-oriented design patterns and principles in solution development.
• Work with RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks.
• Manage version control using systems like Github and CI/CD tooling.
• Collaborate in delivering projects within SAFe frameworks.
• Possibly engage in hybrid working arrangements as needed.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a C# .Net Developer.
• Strong knowledge of .Net Core and RESTful web services.
• Experience in developing microservice-based solutions.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design patterns (OOAD).
• Prior experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
