Summary: The role of a .Net Developer involves working on a business-critical Government Digital Service (GDS) programme for a high-profile client. The position requires expertise in C#, .NET Core, RESTful web services, and microservices, with a focus on building solutions in an Azure Containerised environment. The developer will be expected to deliver within SAFe programmes and utilize object-oriented design principles. This is a primarily remote role, requiring UK residency and eligibility for BPSS clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain C# .NET applications within a GDS environment.
• Implement RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Utilize object-oriented design patterns and principles in software development.
• Work with RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
• Engage in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing.
• Manage version control using systems like Github and CI/CD tooling.
• Deliver projects within SAFe frameworks.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a C# .NET Developer.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core and RESTful web services.
• Experience in developing microservice-based solutions.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design patterns (OOAD).
• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks.
• Proficient in version control systems (Github) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Excellent skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience delivering within SAFe programmes.
