Summary: The role of .NET Developer involves developing and enhancing a large-scale web application using C# and ASP.NET MVC for a digital consultancy in the retail and commerce sector. The position requires collaboration with a remote team to modernize an existing .NET platform hosted in AWS. The developer will focus on building high-performance applications that support critical business operations. This is a contract position for three months with a competitive day rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of a large-scale web application using C# and ASP.NET MVC
- Write and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures for data-driven features
- Collaborate with team members to implement scalable architecture and cloud-based infrastructure in AWS
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments
- Troubleshoot bugs, identify bottlenecks, and propose efficient solutions
- Follow secure coding practices and document technical processes
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a C# Developer in commercial environments
- Proficiency with ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server
- Experience developing and maintaining enterprise web applications
