Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced .NET Architect with expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms to design and implement scalable enterprise applications. The role involves leading cloud migration strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in application development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Microsoft .NET technology stack and cloud-native architectures. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design enterprise-grade solutions using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, MVC).
- Lead cloud migration strategies and modernization of legacy systems to AWS and Azure platforms.
- Develop architectural blueprints, technical documentation, and integration patterns.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures using containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Provide guidance on best practices for application development, deployment, and infrastructure automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and security best practices.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve application performance and team productivity.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in the Microsoft .NET stack.
- 5+ years of experience designing and deploying applications in AWS and Azure.
- Proven experience with cloud-native architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with identity and access management using OAuth2, SAML, Azure AD, etc.
