Summary: The role of Application Developer focuses on building and managing feature-flagged applications using LaunchDarkly across various technology stacks, including .NET, Python, Angular, and JavaScript. The position is contract-to-hire for a duration of three months and requires remote work with occasional travel to South Carolina. Candidates must be located in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement server- and client-side LaunchDarkly SDKs in .NET, Python, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Define flag lifecycles, naming conventions, and governance rules (targets, cohorts, retirement).
- Embed A/B testing and guarded rollout logic in application code.
- Partner with SRE and Release teams to surface flag metrics and rollback triggers.
- Produce developer playbooks, code samples, and peer training sessions.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years full-stack development experience in .NET Core, Python, Angular, React/JavaScript.
- 1+ year hands-on experience with LaunchDarkly (or Unleash/Split) feature-flag architecture.
- Strong understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and unit/integration testing.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, pull-request reviews, and CI pipelines.
