Summary: The Nessus SME role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Tenable Nessus vulnerability scanners in an on-premises environment. The position requires active SC clearance and focuses on deploying scanners, managing asset discovery, and implementing remediation activities. Strong expertise in Tenable Nessus and collaboration with client security teams are essential for success in this role. This is a remote position for a duration of 4 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Tenable Nessus vulnerability scanners.
• Deploy Nessus sensors across the environment to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Work with client security teams to configure scan policies and manage asset discovery.
• Enable reports and implement remediation activities.
• Document tests and build activities consistently and coherently.

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding of Tenable Nessus architecture and components.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and administering Nessus in an on-premises environment.
• Knowledge of network security and vulnerability management principles.
• Ability to define and implement scan policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills.
• Tenable Nessus certification (desirable).
