Summary: The role of MS Fabric Technical Architect requires a professional with expertise in MS Fabric and experience in large-scale cloud data platforms. The architect will be responsible for enterprise technology programs, focusing on tenant architecture and deployment within Azure. The position is primarily remote with some travel for workshops and meetings across the UK. The contract duration is between 3 to 6 months and is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement MS Fabric tenant architecture.
- Oversee enterprise scale deployment of cloud data platforms.
- Utilize Azure data platform services including Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Delta Lake.
- Implement Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance reporting.
- Develop enterprise Azure security architecture with a focus on zero-trust design and network segmentation.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including tenant architecture and governance.
- Proficient in Azure data platform services.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview for data governance.
- Knowledge of enterprise Azure security architecture.
- Strong understanding of real-time analytics and Fabric Networking.

We are looking for a technical architect with experience of MS Fabric. You will have experience working on large scale cloud data platforms or enterprise technology programmes.

- Microsoft Purview for enterprise data governance, data estate cataloguing, lineage, classification policies, and compliance reporting
- Enterprise Azure security architecture: zero-trust design, Entra ID governance, Private Endpoint strategy, network segmentation, Microsoft Defender for Cloud
The contract is for 3 to 6 months initially, inside IR35. The role is largely remote with occasional travel for workshops and meetings across the UK.
