Why this role exists
Curvestone builds AI agents that check mortgage cases for compliance: suitability, sourcing rationale, client needs analysis, shopping list accuracy, regulatory wording, protection suitability, and offer reconciliation. We're rolling out four workflows across multiple lender and broker clients through 2026 and beyond. Every workflow goes through a structured UAT pass before it goes live, then continues through regression cycles as we change the underlying agents and as new client variants come online. We need a senior mortgage compliance practitioner as a standing expert reviewer. Not a one-off contractor for a single launch. Someone who learns our products, knows our standards, and becomes the trusted human judgement layer behind our AI.
------
What you'll do
Core, every week:
- Execute UAT test scripts against whichever workflow is in active testing
- Judge whether the AI got the right answer on suitability, MCOB, Consumer Duty, shopping list accuracy, protection suitability, and regulatory wording
- Document defects clearly so engineering can reproduce and fix
- Re-execute scripts after bug fixes
- Flag edge cases the scripts don't cover that a real reviewer would catch
Across the year, you'll work across all four workflows:
- Pre-Check (live, ongoing regression and edge case work)
- Full Mortgage File (E2E UAT in progress now)
- Protection Check (UAT later in the year)
- Offer Check (UAT after that)
As the relationship matures, the role can grow into:
- Contributing to test script design, not just execution
- Curating golden case datasets that drive accuracy benchmarking
- Helping define what "good" looks like for new workflows we haven't built yet
- Reviewing AI output on live cases in our Live tier as a quality check
