Summary: The Module Lead for Project Management at Tiro is responsible for planning, designing, and delivering the Level 6 Applied Sciences programme, specifically the TFM5101 module. This role emphasizes academic leadership, content creation, and fostering an inclusive learning environment while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. The Module Lead will also ensure learner progress through proactive engagement and timely feedback on assessments. This position is remote and offers a contract until June 2025, with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver robust module delivery plans and subject-specific content for Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and live lessons.
- Conduct up to 10 weekly live online lessons that stimulate curiosity and foster an inclusive environment.
- Mark assessments and provide timely feedback in accordance with Tiro's policies.
- Anticipate and address learner challenges to ensure progress within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with Curriculum Lead, Digital Education team, and other stakeholders to enhance learning experiences.
- Attend module and cross-module meetings to discuss concerns and share best practices.
Key Skills:
- Significant experience in delivering learning programmes or training schemes.
- Practical experience in project management, ideally in Laboratory Testing or Science Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, or APM.
- Degree qualification or higher in Project Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire learners.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and follow processes in line with organizational policies.
