Summary: The Mobile Quality Engineer role focuses on driving the quality engineering strategy for mobile applications, encompassing both iOS and Android platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the QE strategy for product/individual project level.
- Document the test plan/test cases for the product.
- Understand what needs to be in nightly vs what needs to be in CI/CD integration; collaborate with the internal automation team.
- Clearly document scenario-based testing including positive and negative tests.
- Understand how to use Postman/Charles to analyze API traffic.
- Perform manual testing until automation is fully implemented.
- Fill in the QE notes section in Jira stories with testing scenarios.
- Conduct manual testing after desk checks.
- Perform regression testing.
- Investigate failures using Proxyman to determine if issues are API or UI related.
- Utilize XCUI test for iOS and Espresso for Android for automation.
- Preferred experience with Xray knowledge.
- Required knowledge of Proxyman/Charles or similar API checking tools.
- CI/CD integration knowledge is a nice to have.

Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with XCUI test for iOS and Espresso for Android.

- Long term plan is to have automation but until everything is automated we will need manual testing
- Jira stories will have QE notes section where QE needs to fills in the scenarios
- After desk check, QE will be manually testing the card

- Should like to get hands dirty that is something fails look at proxyman to see if it was API or UI failed
- Skill Set
- This role is for both iOS and Android automation
- They should have hands-on experience with XCUI test for iOS and Espresso for Android. This is VERY IMPORTANT
- Having experience with Xray knowledge preferred
- Proxyman/Charles or any tool that s used to check API is required
- CI/CD integration knowledge is definitely a nice to have.
